Pay Your Bill
If you are an ERIE Insurance Policyholder, you can pay your bill electronically, by mail or by phone. Review the following options to determine what’s best for you. You can also access information about your account through ERIE’s automated phone system. Have your policy handy and call (800) 458-0811, option 9, to check on your balance and recent payments.
Online:
You can make your payment online with the One Time Payment Service. The payment is deducted from your savings or checking account, with no fees.
By Phone:
You can make your payment with a debit card, credit card or checking account number by calling the toll-free automated telephone service at:

A convenience fee of $4.95 per transaction is charged by the vendor service hosting this option.
Direct Debit:
Through Erie Insurance’s direct debit programs, payments are spread over 12 months and are drawn directly from your bank account.
- With ErieExpress Pay, you can make payments on personal lines policies. Sign up at time of application or RENEWAL. 2 months down payment is required to activate the account.
- Express Pay Form must be completed
In Person:
You can drop off your payment at our Office between the hours of 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.

At Erie Insurance, we offer seven payment plans to best match your needs.

- Plan A
Your entire premium is due on the policy effective date.
***7% savings on your auto insurance premium! - Plan B
One third of your premium is due on the policy effective date.
***5% savings on your auto insurance premium
The second third of your premium is due within 30 days of the policy effective date.
The last third of your premium is due within 60 days of the policy effective date. - Plan C
One quarter of your premium is due on the policy effective date.
The second quarter of your premium is due within 30 days of the policy effective date. This means that one half of the premium is paid within 30 days.
The second half of your premium is due within 6 months of the policy effective date.
Note: A nominal charge is added to the second and third installments. - Plan D
One quarter of your premium is due on the policy effective date.
The second quarter of your premium is due within 3 months of the policy effective date.
The third quarter of your premium is due within 6 months of the policy effective date.
The final balance of your premium is due within 9 months of the policy effective date.
Note: A nominal charge is added to the second, third and last installments. - Monthly
One ninth of your premium is due on the policy effective date.
The second through ninth monthly installments are due every 30 days after the effective date of your policy.
During the 10th, 11th, and 12th month, no payment is due.
Note: A nominal charge is added to the second through ninth installments. - ERIExpressPay
Twelve month direct debit plan for personal lines insurance policies.
Automatic withdrawal from checking/savings account.
Two months down payment required to activate account.
Sign up is only available at the time of application or renewal. - Account Billing
Two or more policies billed monthly on a single statement.
All policies share a common effective date.
Acceptable underwriting and payment record.
